The mallet features a Lignum Vitae head fitted with solid brass rings to provide protection and help control long shots. The head is further fitted with scored faces to aid roll and stop shots. The handle is made from Hickory and has a wind on competition grip and additional Roller grip for roll shots. Each mallet also bears John Solomon's signature.
