Jaques Banjou Mallet is made from a tough Indian hardwood (very close to the weight of Lignum Vitae). The mallet featured the same pattern as the Jaques' Solomon mallet and the timber has almost identical playing characteristics, with excellent resistance to accidental miss hits.
